Carrot Cake
This is a great recipe for everyone to try.
There are quite a lot of ingredients but its worth the
ending. Great for kids and grownups.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup of flour
1/4 cup of wheat flour
1/2 cup of grated carrot
3/4 cup of curd
1/4 cup of olive oil
2+1/2 tbsp of milk
1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla essence
1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon powder(optional)
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
1/4 teaspoon of Salt
1 handful of chopped walnuts
1.Preheat oven to 182 Celsius for 10 minutes
2.Sieve together the flour,wheat flour, salt,baking soda and baking powder.Set aside
3.In a mixing bowl add curd,sugar,milk and olive oil.Mix well until the sugar dissolves.
4.Now add the cinnamon powder and vanilla essence/extract and give the mixture a quick stir.
5.Finally fold in the grated carrots.
6.Now add the dry mixture to the wet mixture.
7.Whisk until the mixture forms to a batter.
8.Pour the batter onto a greased cake tin and sprinkle the walnuts on top.
9.Bake the cake for 20-25 minutes.
10.Let the cake cool before you cut it for 10-15 minutes
